I made a laughable attempt to clean my room and it went from looking like a frenzied pack rat's nightmare to looking like someone just moved in (there are sheets of bubble wrap floating in and out of my room for some reason, unknown even to myself). While taking a breather, I got to thinking about my personal interior style and I've narrowed it down to dark weathered wood, vintage pieces that serve double uses, clean lines and neutral colors.

I want to go to there.
I don't understand people who don't like to travel. Why limit yourself to your surroundings? Explore the world and make it your own. I'm starting to feel the tension of being bound to one spot for hours, working on an endless array of papers that will only exist to a couple of people for a brief period of time. It got me thinking of how much I would rather be exploring the ruins of a medieval castle than exhausting my own mental capacity.

"Life imitates art far more than art imitates life."
This is why I love art. As you begin to settle into the dark recesses of your imagination, something like this unexpectedly crosses your path and reignites the weak flame of inspiration and creativity that you thought was doomed to be extinguished for good.
